Friday Night Smackdown Ratings Explode

Coming off a rare Christmas NFL game, Friday Night Smackdown ratings doubled it usual audience. Last nights early ratings put Smackdown viewership at over 3,336,000. That is usually twice their audience which has been averaging a little under two million viewers per week. No doubt the assist from the NFL audience helped the ratings. The first hour over 4,097,000 viewers tuned into see the steel cage match between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns. However, the second over saw viewership drop off to the tune of 2,597,000. Not a bad night overall for the WWE and FOX network.
