Several WWE Talent Pass On New Contracts

According to wrestling insiders, several WWE Superstars from the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT brands were offered new contracts last year (2020) but they turned them down. The offers were said to be “disappointing” compared to 2019.

In 2019, WWE were giving talent a lot of money as they didn’t want them going elsewhere. Since the pandemic, WWE is no longer in “talent hoarding mode” and the offers are well below what they were before.

The report notes that at least a half dozen wrestlers have turned down new offers or are hesitant to agree to anything right now. Many talents are waiting for things to return to “more normal” and then see if the offers improve. WWE officials are said to be open to this. Story Developing.
