WWE SummerSlam To Have LIVE Crowds

Following the success of last weekend’s WrestleMania, which was held in front of a live crowd at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, WWE returned to its ThunderDome on Monday, performing in front of a virtual crowd. Sources within WWE confirmed to Sports Illustrated that the plan is to hold SummerSlam in front of a live crowd.
WhattaDay Joe has also learned that The TD Garden in Boston, MA is a heavy favorite to host this years SummerSlam. The venue was slated to host last years event, pre pandemic, but as we all know everything has been “on hold” since then. Boston tourism board as well as the TD Garden have August openings and is still planning on hosting the event. Official word from the WWE is expected later this month.
