WWE is preparing to go back on the road with live event touring starting on July 16th for a Friday Night SmackDown event in Houston, Texas. WWE has already confirmed several dates and venues for their schedule throughout the summer.
#WhattaDay has learned that the WWE has started to inform the talent roster at Monday’s Raw that they will be expected to come to the WWE Performance Center over the next few weeks to take part in workouts in the ring to better prepare them for the return of touring.
It was noted they were told the workouts could begin as early as next week with wrestlers taking part in drills and possibly even matches in order to make sure their ring work is sharper, which is believed to be a Vince McMahon edict.
These workouts would take place on days that wrestlers aren’t booked to work TV events. A number of wrestlers told the media outlet that they were looking forward to trying to get their timing and in-ring work “back to normal.”
It was said some people may not have seen anything off, but those who know better have seen their timing had been a little “off” for some time. Everyone on the roster will be asked to take part in the workouts.
